Edem Yankson is a well-rounded professional with a twenty-five-year multidisciplinary background in human resource management, company secretaryship and Law. Edem is a qualified lawyer and a member of the Ghana Bar Association. She obtained a Professional Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law, an LLB from GIMPA Law School. She also holds MBA Human Resource Management from University of Ghana and BA Management & Psychology from University of Ghana, Accra. She is an Associate of the Chartered Governance Institute (UK) and has an SPHRi certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute(USA).Her work experience spans the telecommunication, agribusiness, financial services industries and other conglomerates of businesses. In her previous roles, Edem served as a Company Secretary to a listed company within the Financial Services Industry. She also managed a change management project that positively impacted employee engagement and also resulted in creating a performance-driven culture at the workplace. Edem is currently the Head of Human Resources and Administration at Services Integrity Savings and Loans Limited.Mrs Yankson has good commercial acumen coupled with an impressive track record of achievement in people and organizational planning, performance management, executive decision-making and policy direction, corporate governance and board effectiveness. His about 13years of post 2nd degree work experience spans several sectors of the economy, having worked with or consulted for clients in banking & finance, entrepreneurship, health, INGO, agribusiness, telecommunications, oil & gas, MMDAs and donor-funded projects in Ghana and across the West African sub-region.Academically, Walter holds a BA (Hons) degree in Economics & Geography from KNUST, an MPhil in Economics from the University of Ghana, an Executive Masters in Conflict, Peace and Security from the Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Training Centre and a Diploma in Strategic Marketing Management from ICM – UK. He is a graduate of the Collaborative Masters Programme (CMAP) for Africa under the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) in Arusha, Tanzania where he majored in Labour Economics and Public Sector Finance. He is also a proud product of the United Nations’ Graduate Study Programme at its famous “Palais des Nations” in Geneva, Switzerland and holds a professional certificate in project management from Google LLC, USA.Walter is unashamedly Christian, loves teaching and has done that for several years at different levels.
